[ Jack was probably a little drunk, the cheap whiskey is burning in his throat and putting a heat into his stomach that makes him want to cause trouble. Or maybe it's the fact that Bells ditched him yet again, to do something off on his own. It wasn't fair, he was useful! He'd proven it time and time again by doing everything the bandit needed and more. And yet here he was, sitting at the bar surrounded by stinking ranchers and railroad workers while Bells did something interesting without him.

Another drink and Jack had lost enough of his judgement to start talking back when one of the ranchers got it in his head to pick on Jack. Ask him if he always bends for it or if he's ever had a proper lay with a woman and that whiskey heat in his stomach lights into a fire as he drawls nice and loud. ]

I wouldn't call it proper. I mean, your wife's been ridden by so many people I couldn't even feel the sides-

[ And the next thing Bells will hear is the sound of a bar fight starting. Bottles and glasses breaking and the sound of Jack yelping above it all. ]

Bells!
