[ It's not creatively chopped; it's chopped to perfection. Don't be a snob, Misaki. Fushimi eyes the vegetables and gives them a thorough stare down. ]
I don't like them. [ And that's really all he has to say about that, once again turning to Mikelo and standing next to him to help with the flour. Casually, he reaches around him to poke his mug even closer to the two sitting adjacent on the counter, adamant Mikelo acknowledge him. Then, he jerks the knife from the cutting board and proceeds to clean it in the sink. ]
There's still bentou from yesterday, so we can have that too. I saved it. [ Probably because Misaki made it. ]
[Mikelo nods to Misaki in response to the vegetables, pulling out his white-board again to add: ]
Or we could make stir-fry.
[Because contrary to Fushimi being picky, there's no way Mikelo is about to waste perfectly good food. The veggies just need a good rinse, and they'll be edible.
He nearly rolls his eyes again at Fushimi's actions, but instead writes again.
:| ]
What are you, five? I see you, already. You'll get cocoa, too. I'm not blind, so quit it.
[ Once the flour is taken care of and dumped into the trash, Yata goes to inspect the vegetables before pulling the knife out and taking them over to the sink to be washed. ]
If there's still some bentou left, you should take it for your lunch tomorrow. [ He's not at the right angle to see what Mikelo is saying to Fushimi so he starts working on chopping the cleaned vegetables. ]
[ He tsk-s kind of loudly at the comment Mikelo makes, giving him a look. Fushimi stares at Misaki too, sharing the sink space with him and pressing a little closer than usual. But the mention of actually having stir fry causes him to bristle. Dropping the knife, he turns away. ]
I'm not eating. I have work to do.
[ Fushimi doesn't actually have anything to do, refusing to bring work home with him, but he thinks he can somehow make an exception. So, he leaves the kitchen, annoyed but also silently sulking. ]
[Mikelo lets out a bit of a tch! of his own, rolling his eyes again. He pounds fist on the counter (mainly for Misaki's attention) and scribbles on his board again.]
Such a damn baby, Saru is.
[He might even stick his tongue out, but instead goes back to the food - and soon to he cocoa.
[ He's out of the kitchen, and it's a little easier to breathe suddenly, tugging off the ridiculous apron he has on and tossing it into a basket as he walks past the laundry room. He wants to hurt something. Needless to say, the other boy's presence isn't a welcome one.
Fushimi leans against a corner, arms crossed. ]
So you decided to follow me, Mi-sa-ki? You're always so attached to - [ He tilts his head to the side, sighs heavily. ] - Mikelo. I didn't think you cared. [ Something about that makes him even more upset. ]
[ This is almost painfully familiar, his tone of voice. The intent to hurt. Yata sets his jaw against that and reaches out to touch Fushimi's wrist gently. ]
Don't give me that bullshit, you know I care. [ He takes a deep breath so he doesn't yell at Fushimi before looking him in the eye. ]
[ He doesn't want Misaki to touch him. Fushimi feels like hurting instead, and he swallows roughly, eyes flicking behind him toward the kitchen and back to his face. ]
You like Mikelo. [ His mouth suddenly stings, and he grits his teeth. ] If you don't want to be here, just say so.
[He's trying not to listen in too much to what Fushimi and Yata are saying. Not because it's rude, necessarily, but more so due to the way it leaves a small knot in his gut. It's awkward and uncomfortable, to some degree.
Not that he doesn't like it, though. . . . It's just. Different.
Mikelo remains in the kitchen for the time being. He's finished preparing the cocoa, and has moved on to cut more of the now-cleaned vegetables, and is contemplating making rice.]
[ Fushimi looks away, bringing his shoulder up to rub his cheek with it. ]
It's true then. [ Another little sigh, and he drops his arms, stepping forward to grab Misaki's wrist so he can drag him back into the kitchen. He shoves him a bit, as if pushing him toward the other boy already there. ] Tell him.
[ He says it loud enough to get Mikelo's attention. ]
H-hey! [ He stumbles to a stop and looks everywhere but at Mikelo with a stubborn set to his jaw. He might've been forced back into the kitchen but that doesn't mean he has to say anything. ]
Don't be useless. [ He mutters it under his breath, shoving his glasses up and stepping between Misaki and Mikelo. Fushimi crosses his arms and eyes them both before heaving a sigh. Like it's really that much of a chore to be going about this. ]
You wanted to talk. This is what I want to talk about. [ At Mikelo. ] Misaki likes you. Therefore, we should start a relationship.
[ Because he's that straightforward and assumes it'll work just as easy if they get to the point anyhow. ]
It should be logical. This is an easy problem to resolve. [ At that second comment though, the rejecting part, he shakes his head. ] But the relationship will be with Misaki and me.
[ Fushimi chews on the inside of his cheek, glancing at the other boy before turning to look at Mikelo. They're so similar and different; he likes that about them, he thinks. A roll of his shoulders, he closes the distance between himself and Mikelo so he can lightly grip his chin. Tilt his head up so their eyes meet. ] Do you accept?
[ Don't mind Yata, he'll just be a bit off to the side wondering how the hell they went from Fushimi being pissed over something to... proposing that Mikelo be with both of them? His cheeks heat up over the fact that Mikelo likes him too, and he wants to slap himself because he shouldn't be excited over that because already has a boyfriend!
[Ah. Both, he says? Actual relationships are a bit foreign to Mikelo, be it strictly in a platonic way, and certainly romantic as well, although he's never exactly been opposed to them.
—Really, he savors any positive attention. If he's lucky, neither Yata or Fushimi will have ulterior motives (which has happened on more than one occasion, if Mikelo is to name his adoptive "parents" as an example).
Trust is a tricky thing like that.
At the very least, up until this point, Mikelo knows and feels that it's been rather nice to have both of them as a part of his life. Nothing too major has made him want to turn and run the other way, which has happened in the past. Of course, being allowed to live with them (while not even needing to trick them into waiving a rooming fee), and share their food is a very appreciated plus.
Okay, so maybe he leans more towards liking Yata - especially with their hobbies lining up so nice - but adapting is one of Mikelo's talents he prides himself in.
. . . At least Fushimi is quite physically appealing. The rest can be worked on.
Still a bit amused, Mikelo smiles, then leans up further to playfully kiss Fushimi on the cheek. Withdrawing enough to write again, he first gives a kiss to Yata's cheek as well. ]
[ He doesn't know how to react to the kiss Mikelo gives him, and he certainly doesn't know what to do with the knot that twists his stomach when Mikelo gives Misaki the same sort of affection either. Jealousy, of course. But Misaki wouldn't have it considering their current situation, and Fushimi swallows it down with a deep frown. ]
If this is going to work, there are going to be rules.
[ Because that's what Misaki had told him a long time ago when they'd began again, and so far, things seemed to be working pretty well. A glance at the other boy for reassurance. ]
[ He looks at Fushimi, trying to figure out if he's really okay with this. The decision for rules is a relief, a bit of control that he hasn't had since Fushimi stormed out of the kitchen the first time. ]
...I guess th' first rule should be the same as always.
[ Yata looks at Mikelo, and then looks Fushimi in the eye for this one since it's the rule they've always had the most trouble with. ]
No holding shit back when you're upset. If you don't talk about it then nothing gets done and things get bad. If this whole... thing is gonna work then that's gotta be a priority.
Although, in truth, the rule leaves him feeling a bit unsettled. He's never been the type to purely, honestly divulge his feelings, and in particular why he was upset. He could learn to do so, of course, but it may take some time.]

Blinkblink. A tilt of his head as he looks upon them both. ( Tell me what? )

Oh.
Mikelo holds a hand to his mouth momentarily, as if stifling a laugh. Getting out his white-board, he writes (to Fushimi)]
You say that as if he's an object. It's too logical. Like "the cookies are done, therefore they should be removed from the oven."
[Chuckling to himself (which might seem odd, since it's breathy) he takes the board again.]
But, that said-! I like Yata-kun, too. Of course I won't reject him or anything like that. Stop being so formal!
